Moondance is completely volunteer organized and run. The event itself cannot be a success without everyone pitching in to help. You will have an opportunity during the registration process to sign up for areas that you are willing and able to volunteer. There are some specific needs that we have with setup before, teardown afterwards and to assist our kitchen managers periodically throughout the weekend. Please also indicate your preference on the registration form when you purchase your tickets.
Scholarships
Dancing on a budget? Get a discounted ticket in exchange for working 10 hours throughout the weekend. There are a limited number of scholarships available. To apply, select the appropriate Scholarship ticket on the registration site.
If you are applying for a scholarship, DO NOT buy a regular dancer ticket. Buy the Scholarship ticket instead. You will only be charged $30.00 online for the dance ticket (Weekend accommodations are not included. You can pay for a cabin at this time if you wish, or reserve a campsite or off-site accommodations independently.) Then, you will need to mail in a check for the $120 dance deposit. Your registration will not be complete until the deposit check is received.
We will not deposit your check and it will be returned to youunless you fail to complete your assigned job during the dance weekend.
Please Note: You are not registered for a scholarship until you complete and submit the scholarship registration form online, mail in your check & receive confirmation of receipt of your check.
