Table Rock State Park

Table Rock State Park is a 3,083-acre park at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in northern Pickens County, South Carolina with cabins, campgrounds and hiking trails. Dances and meals will take place in The Pinnacle Pavilion (The Barn), which is beautifully transformed by our volunteer committee. There is a nice wooden floor, perfect for dancing! We are guests of the park and are thankful for their partnership over the past several years. Please make sure to abide by the park rules so we will continue to be welcomed back each year. Cabins

If you'd like to reserve a cabin for the dance weekend, those will be reserved through the Moondance Registration Eventbrite process. We are offering tiered pricing for cabin spots to reflect private room vs. sofa bed accommodations. See the available options below. Cabin spots are reserved for Friday evening-Monday morning accommodations (3 nights). Cabin space is limited and spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a cabin spot, you will purchase a cabin space (1/2 double bed) ticket for each person. If you see a waiting list option during registration, that means that cabin spots have sold out. We will contact you if one becomes available.

Cabin Ticket Options:

1/2 bed in private room: $180 (Friday-Monday) - SOLD OUT (wait list)
1/2 sofa bed in common area: $100 (Friday-Monday) STILL AVAILABLE

Special Notes:

During the registration process, you can list the names of people you hope to share a bed or cabin with. We will try our best to fulfill those requests.

NOTE: You may purchase 2 bed spaces if you do not wish to share a bed with someone else. People may also bring their own air mattress, if they prefer not to share a bed with someone else.

Please Note: If did not purchase 2 bed spaces for yourself, you must be willing to share with a same-gender person.
Pets are not permitted in the cabins or cabin area.

Cabins are completely furnished, heated, air-conditioned, and supplied with bath and bed linens, basic cooking and eating utensils, automatic coffee maker, a microwave, and include a screened porch and fireplace. Cabins have 1-2 private rooms, and most SLEEPER SOFAS. You will be sharing a bed.

Camping

There are two campsite options for this year. Please note that any dancers staying off-site will be required to pay the daily gate fee to enter the park.

1. Camping at Table Rock State Park (on-site)
2. Camping at River Falls Lodge (off-site)

Here are details for each option:

1. Table Rock State Park

You will need to reserve your campsite through the state park reservation system. Moondance will not be handling TRSP campsite reservations. The campsites in Mountain Laurel are closest to the Barn where we will dance. Please note that campsites listed at "Tent Campsite 1-6" are primitive campsites and may not be desirable for this event.
Campsite availability at Table Rock State Park fills up quickly, especially during this time of year. For those that have already reserved a campsite and have additional space on your site, please consider posting to the Campsite Sharing Document so as many people as possible can stay on-site. Each campsite allows for 2 tents or 1 camper and 1 tent, and space for 2 passenger vehicles. There is a maximum of 6 people per site.
If you have not yet reserved a site, please visit the TRSP reservation system first to see if there are available campsites. If not, visit the Campsite Sharing Document to see if a fellow dancer has additional space and also check the Park Reservation System periodically to check sites that may have opened up.
Site Sharing: After you reserve a site with the park, please go to the Campsite Sharing Doc and enter your information so that people who are looking to share a site can contact you.
People who arrange to share campsites with each other should work directly with each other on the details such as site number, sharing of campsite cost, etc. We've set up the above link to help you connect and communicate with each other about camping arrangements, but keep in mind that whatever arrangements you make will be between yourself, whoever you're sharing your campsite with, and the park.
Campsites may be reserved by people not associated with Moondance, which means that you might be camping next to a non-dance-weekender.
You will be the guests of Table Rock State Park and must camp under their rules, including quiet hours. Please be respectful of your neighbors so that we can continue to use the Park. Please read the Park Rules information.
If you reserve a campsite, keep the following in mind:
- Your campsite reservation and payment will be directly with Table Rock State Park, and will be subject to the cancellation policy and other rules of the park.
- In particular, the park charges a fee for cancellations (if you cancel far enough in advance, there is no fee. Otherwise, the fee is $10; see the park website for details).
- Moondance registration will be completely separate from campsite arrangements, and will be subject to the same registration limit as in previous years.
- Please Note: the Park only allows the person who made the reservation for the camp site to check in. If you are sharing the site and the person sharing will arrive first, you will need to contact the Park to allow them to check in for the camp site.
- We cannot guarantee that you'll be admitted to Moondance just because you reserve a campsite --- you will also need to submit your Moondance registration form and payment when registration begins in July.

2. River Falls Lodge - This is off-site and you will be required to pay the daily gate fee at TRSP upon entering. Current Table Rock State Park gate fees are as follows: $6 adults; $3.75 SC seniors (age 65 & older); $3.50 children ages 6-15; ages 5 and under, free

River Falls Lodge is located at River Falls Lodge Rd, Marietta, SC 29661. River Falls Lodge is approx. 19 minutes down the road from Table Rock State Park.
The owners are graciously offering tent camping for a fee of $12. Campers will have access to bathroom/shower facilities on site.
You can reserve a tent site at River Falls Lodge through the Eventbrite registration.
**There are homes nearby and quiet hours need to be respected after 10pm.**
Campers may check in any time on Friday and check out Sunday after the dance. Tents may be set up within the fenced area near the Lodge. Cars can unload on the pea gravel driveway, but may not go inside of the fenced area.
